11:40 AM How Digital Transformation has Enabled Improvement of Services to Students, Parents and Teachers at NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)

A few short years ago NESA’s digital presence consisted of 43 different websites; a collection of remnants from the 80’s and 90’s. Since then NESA has embarked on its digital journey which has involved digitizing in-house operations and moving into the cloud. 43 websites have been consolidated into 1 all-encompassing site complete with the digitization of syllabus and the extension of web services to include a range of resources for parents, teachers and students. In this session Vanishree will share a snapshot of the digital transformation journey to date:

  • How the transformation was driven through good governance and strategy
  • From disruption to disrupters: how NESA harnessed digital to get ahead of disruption
  • Assessing the requirements of the students, parents and teachers to ensure services delivered were a success
