The DTA has been created to perform a pivotal function
in the evolution of the Australian government- to help
government transform services to be simple, clear and fast.
Since their inception in 2015 the agency has delivered
the Digital Service Standard, partnered with DHS to make
significant improvements to MyGov, invested in and
managed 72 major ICT projects- valued at $5.3 billion
and boosted the digital marketplace to provide increased
opportunities for SME's . Delivering this Keynote and
addressing the key questions surrounding our position
amidst global digital disruption will be Australian Chief
